The delicatessen in the Courtyard at the Mains of Taymouth estate manages to fulfil the roles of a greengrocer, a gelateria and a deli without seeming crowded or unfocused. It's an airy, modern building with plenty of browsing space and, because of the range, it has become important to nearby holidaymakers and locals alike who come for basic essentials or luxurious treats, all with a strong local flavour. Most weekends have tastings conducted by some of the 25 Perthshire producers represented in the shop, from the Glen Lyon coffee served up and Inveralmond brews to the Rannock Smokery meats – which also go on their home-made pizzas. The thoughtful operation offers food starter packs for tourists, veg boxes for free 15-mile delivery and gift hampers that can be made up on the spot.

Pennbury Farm

We are passionate about food and are proud to support and work with local producers and farmers, bringing you the very best the region has to offer. You’ll find freshly baked bread from Hambletons Bakery, milk from Kingarth Dairy and a delicious range of quality meats from W Archer & Sons, not forgetting a large selection of fresh Fruit & Veg. We are also stockists of the award winning frozen meals Gourmade and an extensive range of scoop-your-own- frozen produce from Field Fare, where we encourage you to bring your own pots to reuse and reduce food packaging and food wastage. Then there’s our drinks selection showcasing many local producers from English wines to English Gins! Not forgetting an extensive range of local craft beers and ciders.

We're not a factory or a big retailer. All our smoked fish and meats are hand crafted in-house from top quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible and from sustainable resources. Every smokehouse has a unique flavour from the wood, the way things are done, the raw materials and even the smoker. Here at Cley everything is smoked over Oak to our own recipes and our own processes to produce food with real flavour and above all honesty.

Blacker Hall Farm Shop

As a family of farmers we take a hands-on and traditional approach to everything we do to achieve the best quality possible. Our beef roasts and steaks are matured on the bone for a minimum of 21 days, our award-winning hams and bacon are dry-cured here by us, and our bread is freshly baked each morning. Whilst it’s impossible for us to compete with local supermarkets on price, there’s no contest when it comes to taste and provenance.

The Butts Farm Shop

The Butts Farm Shop is situated within The Butts Farm. They farm rare and traditional breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry. The Farm is open to the public from February to October and attracts some 10,000 visitors per year. With Judy's ability to produce fine stock they are confident that when you buy from The Butts Farm Shop you will find yourself eating some of the finest meat in the UK.
