Super Saturdays are themed street market events which take place in Fraserburgh on the 2nd Saturday of each month from May to September and one in Dec.
On the 1st Saturday of each month (excluding January) Creake Abbey hosts its award winning market. 50+ stall holders come with fresh local produce including meat, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheeses, cakes, tartes (savoury and sweet), pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, rapeseed oil, vinegars, preserves, local ales, juices and plants plus much more. A number of exceptional pre-prepared dishes are on sale all made with local ingredients (and some exotic spices!).
This is a big farmers’ market is located in County Square, next to Gilmour Street station, so just ten minutes by train from Glasgow’s Central Station. Now running twice a month, and recognised by BBC Good Food Magazine as one of the best in the UK, the market brings together up to thirty producers offering specialities such as Ayrshire hill lamb, Limousin steaks and West Coast seafood. Cookery demonstrations by leading chefs such as Nick Nairn are a regular feature.
The town's Local Produce Market runs on the fourth Saturday of every month and sells high quality food, drink and crafts from a c.25 mile radius of Chesham. You can find us in Market Square near the clock tower and the upper end of the High Street between 10am and 2pm. Our market is a fantastic opportunity to try the local produce on your doorstep, at your convenience, plus meet and talk to the people who make it!
