Milngavie marks the start (or if heading south) the finish of the Highland Way. For walkers what better way to stock up food for the trip than to stop at the Milngavie farmers’ market. This weekday market is well supported by locals but visitors are most welcome. A variety of produce from all over Scotland is on offer.

Hexham Farmers Market is a long established market in the heart of the historic town of Hexham in Northumberland. Our producers come from within a 50 mile range of the town and they are all passionate about what they do. They make the products themselves using a high percentage of locally produced ingredients, so the meat you buy at Hexham Farmers’ Market is reared by the producer and the vegetables are locally grown. We have about 25 producers who come to the market on a regular basis.

Held on Belper Market Place on the second Saturday of every month. Belper Farmers' Market offers you an opportunity to buy food and local produce direct from farmers, producers and craftsmen. The stallholders will be pleased to answer questions about their produce and offer advice. A warm and friendly market with a wonderful array of products awaits you. Free parking is available at the rear of the market in the Coppice car park

This is one of the most atmospheric markets in Scotland. Cooking demonstrations, free tastings and live music all add to the enjoyment of this busy market with up to twenty five stall-holders. Produce comes from artisan farms that concentrate on quality, tradition and flavour, such as Jock’s Tattie Shed, Ballencrieff Pedigree Pigs, Monarch Deer Farm and Scots Cheer Fruit Liqueurs. Just half an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and a trip to the market would be an added treat to a day out in East Lothian.

The Kings Norton Farmers' Market was set up by a group of local residents who wanted to make a difference to their community. The market is a not-for-profit organisation, with any surplus being invested directly back into the local community - through our status as a Community Interest Company.

Harborough Market has had a long and colourful history which began over 800 years ago. There has been a market in Market Harborough since 1204. The market was granted a license by the King, known as a Royal Grant or Charter, which gave the market the right to trade unopposed in the region within a radius of 6 and 2/3 miles. The people of the town had to pay 3 marks (1 mark is 250g of silver) to King John for the right to hold the market.

The Market is a venture provided by the trustees of “Harkstead Farmers Market” and is managed and organised by a group of volunteers. They have a Market co-ordinator and a dedicated group who erect and dismantle the tables and provide the refreshments.
