The Markets Promotion Group in Wigtown is running weekly farmers markets, from Easter till October. The Wigtown market has grown rapidly in size and now has an average of 26 stalls every week, including fresh meat, fruit and vegetables as well as jewellery, clothes, music and books. For visitors, the Market provides an excellent opportunity to visit Scotland’s National Book Town and do your weekly organic shopping at the same time.
