We are a family run business established in 1973 as a Fruit Farm. The Farm Shop was opened in 2000 followed by the Coffee Shop in 2010. We are located in a small village called Wickham St Pauls, located just off the A131 between Halstead and Sudbury.
Location: Halstead, Essex
During our summer harvest season we welcome you, to enjoy some quality time picking blueberries. The super fruit is easy to pick and very accessible. At the field there’s plenty of free parking and clean toilet facilities.

Trevathan is a working farm and has been farmed by the Symons family since 1850. In recent times the farm buildings had become unsuitable for modern farming methods so they have been restored and converted into stone holiday cottages. We started in 1984 and now have 11 cottages at Trevathan.

We have been growing strawberries at Church Farm, Sessay, since 1970, starting off with 2 acres, and gradually increasing to the present 12 acres. 1 acre of raspberries was planted in 1990, and this area has now increased to 3 acres. Alongside these fruits are also blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries and plums.

We grow nearly 200 varieties of fruit and vegetables in the 40 acres surrounding the Farm shop to give you the best taste for the longest season. Sunclose Farm has been growing delicious Soft Fruit and selling directly to the public since 1972. It has always been run by the Harrold family. Nowadays, John and his wife Liliana are assisted by John’s parents, Paul and Nelda. The farm is only four miles from the centre of Cambridge. There is plenty of car and cycle parking. Customers can also take the park and ride service to Milton, from which it is only a 300m walk to the farm.
