Our produce is sourced on a daily basis, as freshness is of paramount importance and we always aim to source our products locally wherever possible in order to support our fellow Welsh businesses.
We produce our own Beef, lamb, vegetables and turkeys, geese and multi bird rolls for Christmas. We now have quail eggs from our own quails on the farm.
Windmill Wholefoods is an independent organic wholefood shop and workers' co-operative. We sell a wide range of fresh organic fruit and vegetables, organic wholefoods, ethical and fairtrade foods, and eco-friendly household and bodycare products.
In the heart of Herefordshire cider country, Carey Organic grew out of our desire to grow fruit and vegetables nature’s way!
The Cornish Harvest was set up simply to support our local farmers and producers, enabling you to source some of Cornwall’s finest and freshest seasonal produce right on your door step!
We are an awarding-winning market garden, based at North Tillydaff Farm just outside Aberdeen. We provide sumptuous organic veg, delivered straight to your door. No need to buy a spade and venture into the garden, nor to head off on yet another of those tiresome shopping forays. Relax and put your feet up - we’ll do it all for you.
The delicatessen in the Courtyard at the Mains of Taymouth estate manages to fulfil the roles of a greengrocer, a gelateria and a deli without seeming crowded or unfocused. It's an airy, modern building with plenty of browsing space and, because of the range, it has become important to nearby holidaymakers and locals alike who come for basic essentials or luxurious treats, all with a strong local flavour. Most weekends have tastings conducted by some of the 25 Perthshire producers represented in the shop, from the Glen Lyon coffee served up and Inveralmond brews to the Rannock Smokery meats – which also go on their home-made pizzas. The thoughtful operation offers food starter packs for tourists, veg boxes for free 15-mile delivery and gift hampers that can be made up on the spot.
The Growing the Veg Box project has been preparing veg, fruit and salad to hundreds of customers across Torfaen for almost 7 years. We’re part of the Garnsychan Partnership, a charity based in Garndiffaith, and operate as a social enterprise; all our profits are reinvested back into our community in the form of volunteer placements and training, art, cookery and gardening classes, and support for other community organisations.
Locavore’s Big Plan sets out our ambition to scale up what we do to launch a large social enterprise grocery store which offers a viable alternative to supermarkets. We want our new store to be the sort of place most people can do most of their grocery shopping so that we can increase our market share and use it to shape a food system which is better for society and our environment.
Our fruit and vegetable boxes are all made to order, not “one size fits all” standard boxes which are the same every week. We keep a note of all your likes and dislikes and also what you have had recently and prepare your mix of produce with that in mind.
