Sutton Community Farm is a community-owned farm. We started in 2010 in response to a community need with the purpose to increase access to fresh, healthy, sustainable food and provide a shared space for people to cultivate skills, get exercise and make new friends. Our farm sits on a beautiful 7.1 acre smallholding with views towards the skyline of central London.
Locavore’s Big Plan sets out our ambition to scale up what we do to launch a large social enterprise grocery store which offers a viable alternative to supermarkets. We want our new store to be the sort of place most people can do most of their grocery shopping so that we can increase our market share and use it to shape a food system which is better for society and our environment.
Bute Produce has established a Green Box Scheme for the Isle of Bute community. This involves a box of fresh, seasonal fruit & vegetables being delivered to your door on a weekly basis at a fixed rate.
OrganicLea is a community food project based in the Lea Valley in north-east London. We produce and distribute food and plants locally, and inspire and support others to do the same. With a workers’ cooperative at our core, we bring people together to take action towards a more just and sustainable society.
ogan’s Fine Food Company is a family business owned by Catriona, we warmly welcome you to our deli situated in the village of Stenhousemuir, which is just outside Falkirk.
As our veg is so fresh it tastes better. That is a fact. Anyone who has grown their own knows that you cannot beat that 'just picked' taste. But there is another reason; our farmers pick the varieties they grow for taste, not for shape, size, colour, etc. A supermarket tomato has to be round and red with no imperfections. That is because they sell to you with your eyes not your tongue. We have all had those tasteless insipid tomatoes that look good but taste of nothing. You won't get these with us.
With our Farm Shop we now make all of this available for you to take home, and provide you with many additional products that are good for your health and for the earth.
Coleshill Organics was started on a small farm at Watchfield in 1995; from an initial two acres we now have about seven acres in total. The box scheme now operates from within the walled garden in Coleshill, on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border.
