Our box scheme, started in 1999 with the aim of providing a weekly delivery of fresh organically grown local produce straight to the customers door. Situated on the edge of the picturesque Waveney Valley we are in fact Norfolk and North Suffolk's longest running box scheme. Phantassie is based on the edge of East Linton in rural East Lothian, just 25 miles from Edinburgh. The original growing area, a one acre walled garden, is a sheltered patch which has been in use for over 150 years. Gradually we’ve also cultivated another 7 acres. Our large unheated polytunnels enable us to extend the growing seasons and provide a variety of vegetables all year round. We supplement our produce with veg from other local Organic Growers, as well as England and Europe with a cornucopia of Fruit, always as local as possible, never airfreighted and FAIRTRADE if applicable.
