Bluebell Organics is a family run business based at a walled garden on the outskirts of Richmond.
Welcome to the Organic Pantry, we are proud to be a family run organic farm based at Newton Kyme near Tadcaster, North Yorkshire. The Watson family have farmed the 300 acres at St Helens for over 100 years. If you come and visit the farm you can find both Jonnie and Fanny working alongside their children to preserve the plant and wildlife for future generations.
The Growing the Veg Box project has been preparing veg, fruit and salad to hundreds of customers across Torfaen for almost 7 years. We’re part of the Garnsychan Partnership, a charity based in Garndiffaith, and operate as a social enterprise; all our profits are reinvested back into our community in the form of volunteer placements and training, art, cookery and gardening classes, and support for other community organisations.
At WonkyVegBoxes.co.uk we rescue this surplus, deliver it to your door and donate 10% of our produce to charities and food banks around Leicester. We aim for absolute efficiency in our food supply and so we have 0% food waste as a business.
The produce we sell here at Hexhamshire Organics is all organic. Being certified by the Soil Association is our ‘badge of honour’. It is proof that how we grow, care for and distribute our produce is totally Organic. We do not use anything which is artificial and our standards of animal welfare has got to be of an extremely high standard. We also take great care of our soil and all the wildlife living within our land. Please feel free to read the Soil Association Standards. They are available online.
Sutton Community Farm is a community-owned farm. We started in 2010 in response to a community need with the purpose to increase access to fresh, healthy, sustainable food and provide a shared space for people to cultivate skills, get exercise and make new friends. Our farm sits on a beautiful 7.1 acre smallholding with views towards the skyline of central London.
Our aim is to provide a weekly veg box sourced from organically grown food here in the Tywi Valley.
We are trying to achieve this through our Fferm Glytwaith (Patchwork Farm) project where we are co-ordinating a growing scheme with a number of local growers and farmers.
Our hand-reared pork comes from Large white-Duroc Pigs. We have a dedicated and loyal team who take time and care in what they do, to not only offer delicious products but traceability and excellent customer service. We don’t believe in cutting corners. We never have. We make our pork how our ancestors have for generations; with time and care, producing pork that can be remembered for its flavour and superb taste.
As our veg is so fresh it tastes better. That is a fact. Anyone who has grown their own knows that you cannot beat that 'just picked' taste. But there is another reason; our farmers pick the varieties they grow for taste, not for shape, size, colour, etc. A supermarket tomato has to be round and red with no imperfections. That is because they sell to you with your eyes not your tongue. We have all had those tasteless insipid tomatoes that look good but taste of nothing. You won't get these with us.
Coleshill Organics was started on a small farm at Watchfield in 1995; from an initial two acres we now have about seven acres in total. The box scheme now operates from within the walled garden in Coleshill, on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border.
