we are a local family, who started supplying & selling locally sourced produce at Car Boot Sales & Farmer's Markets in Carlisle & throughout the surrounding area. Such has been the demand for our produce that we opened our very successful Farm Shop at the Viaduct Est. to cope with the increased demand. However, due to the December Floods in 2015 we have now relocated to larger premises on the Denton Holme Trading Est.

It is proof that how we grow, care for and distribute our produce is totally Organic. We do not use anything which is artificial and our standards of animal welfare has got to be of an extremely high standard. We also take great care of our soil and all the wildlife living within our land. Please feel free to read the Soil Association Standards. They are available online.

Northdown Orchard is a small organic family farm of just 12 acres. We grow and harvest a wide range of salads, herbs and vegetables all year round in our fields and greenhouses. All fresh produce is harvested, packed and delivered on the same day – only possible with small grower-operated box deliveries.
