Our box scheme, started in 1999 with the aim of providing a weekly delivery of fresh organically grown local produce straight to the customers door. Situated on the edge of the picturesque Waveney Valley we are in fact Norfolk and North Suffolk's longest running box scheme. We believed from the outset that the only way to be truly accountable for what we sell and to guarantee the quality, purity and traceability of our product was to grow everything ourselves.

Ibbotson’s Fresh Quality Produce was established in 1945 and is a small family run business currently managed by the third generation of the Ibbotson family. We select vegetables, fruit and salad fresh every morning from local farmers and surrounding wholesale markets. These are sold on our prominently positioned stall on Chesterfield market place, winner of the favourite Market Stall three years running as voted for by the shoppers of Chesterfield.

We are a family-run business growing fresh, local vegetables on a 1 acre market garden just outside of Bishop's Castle. This is our first year growing, so we are starting small and only producing on 1/4 acre in order to get a handle on the timing of our crops and to experiment with what tastes and grows best.
