Mile Farm Shop

The Mile Pocklington is a family owned and run business – the Barnes family have been farming in the area for decades. We are a 10-15 minute walk from Pocklington town centre going towards Millington, Bishop Wilton and Kilnwick Percy on a stretch of road known simply as The Mile.

The business started more than 20 years ago from two small huts selling animal feed, hay and straw in one hut and fruit and vegetables in the other. We’ve fully embraced the changes seen in farm shops over the past decade and introduced new services to meet the needs of our community.
