Fordhall Organic Farm, based in North Shropshire, England has been chemical free for over 65 years. We rear cattle, sheep and pigs on an outdoor extensive grazing system and have been in community-ownership since 2006

We sell fruit and vegetables (organic and non-organic), wholefoods, fresh bread, chilled and frozen produce, snacks and drinks, and continental and speciality foods including gluten-free and dairy-free. All of the products we sell are vegetarian or vegan.

We grow 39 varieties of apples, 10 varieties of plums and damsons, 4 varieties of pears, 3 varieties of raspberries and 1 variety of blackberry. We are a small family run farm which is now into the third generation. The Pearce family have farmed in the Puckeridge area for 45 years and we now have two generations –David, Andrew and Ed, working on the farm which is a hive of activity all year round. We have a mixed farm of arable, horticultural and traditional breeds of cattle that can often be seen roaming in the fields by the Shop and Café. The cattle are grass fed during the spring, summer and autumn months and during the colder winter months are kept in a warm barn and fed on farm grown hay.
