Hill Farm
Hill Farm PYO has been established for over 40 years. The first crop grown in the early 1970's was sweet corn. Before this, the farm had been a traditional mixed arable and livestock farm, growing wheat ,barley and sugar beet, along with around 50 beef cattle. Paddy's parents, John and Jill, we're first generation farmers and moved to Hill Farm in 1962. It was their foresight that created the opportunity to market farm produce directly to the public, and even let them pick it themselves.

Cherry Garden Farm Shop
The farm shop sells our own homegrown produce, a wide range of locally produced organic dairy products, meat, eggs and juices, organic dried goods, condiments and ice cream as well as local honey and homemade jam from our soft fruit. Just south of Aberdeen the Groat family have been working the land for generations and at the humble beginning milking just 6 cows by hand. The family have always been big cheese lovers and cheesemaking has always been in our family history. Having been looking for a new adventure cheesemaking was an obvious choice so The Devenick Dairy was born in 2006.

Our animals are raised to the highest organic welfare standards and are very, very free range. We feed them no routine antibiotics and have no need to trim beaks/cut teeth or tails as our animals lead a stress free life in as near to natural conditions as possible.

Bedfordshire Growers Ltd
Local food and produce is at the heart of Bedfordshire Growers and so we pride ourselves in selling only the freshest and most local of products and always, wherever possible, try to follow the seasons. Many of our vegetable and salad lines come from Bedfordshire as do our Eggs, meats and pies. We also have very local Jam and Chutney producers as well as very local rapeseed oils. All of our bread is made for us at Ampthill and our cakes less than 30 minutes away in Royston.

Communigrow is a registered food education charity based in East Malling, Maidstone, Kent. We are focused on reconnecting people to freshly grown food, the outdoor environment it comes from and the soil it grows in. We want to teach people from all walks of life – rich or poor, young or old – about how to grow their own food and reconnect with nature. Learning, teaching, caring and sharing are the core aspects of the Communigrow project. We care about ethical food production, land and nature conservation and personal and collective well-being.
