Perth Farmers' Market
Perth was the first farmers’ market to be established in Scotland. Situated in the heart of the country, Perthshire has some of the finest agricultural land and produce in Scotland. Still one of the most popular of all the markets, here you will find the best organic meat, fish and vegetables as well as wines and home-baking. There is also a monthly cooking demonstration where local chefs prepare quick and easy dishes using seasonal ingredients from the market. A true taste of Scotland!

One of Scotland’s first farmers’ markets, the Ayrshire market is located on River Street in front of the Borderline Theatre. Ayrshire is one of Scotland’s most productive areas for quality foods and the market offers a wide range of meat including grass-reared Ayrshire lamb, beef, pork and venison as well as the famous cow, goat and ewes’ cheeses from Dunlop. The market also has its own Co-operative shop which is worth a visit.

The Markets Promotion Group in Wigtown is running weekly farmers markets, from Easter till October. The Wigtown market has grown rapidly in size and now has an average of 26 stalls every week, including fresh meat, fruit and vegetables as well as jewellery, clothes, music and books.
