Farmer Copleys, are a family run farm shop, Moo Café, function space and events centre based in West Yorkshire between Pontefract and Featherstone. Our emphasis throughout is on allowing the sheep to mature at their own pace and ensuring that the sheep live as stress-free life as possible. Feeding on a variety of grasses and herbage, clover meadows and herb-rich uplands allows them time to mature at a gentle pace. Our customers often comment that our hogget and mutton has a flavour of the herbs and hill grasses in it.

Ingram’s Homecure
Our Bacon and Gammons are produced using traditional dry curing techniques. A mixture of natural salts and sugars are rubbed into the surface of the meat to allow natural absorption. This process can take up to 4 Weeks ensuring we deliver a fantastic product.

Pitney Farm Shop
Our farm is called Glebe Farm. We farm 90 acres of organic mixed livestock and arable land. Also, in summer our animals graze on 40 acres of lush pasture on the Somerset Levels. It has been farmed by the Walrond family for over 200 years with three generations involved on the farm today. We converted the farm to organic production in 1999 and have been farming organically ever since. We are licensed growers and processors with the Soil Association.
