The Farm is open to the public from February to October and attracts some 10,000 visitors per year. The Spencer Family came to Spring Lane Farm in 1939. Herbert Spencer came from Wymeswold in Leicestershire and purchased Spring Lane Farm with his wife Edna. Their son, Cyril and his wife Dorothy developed the Business growing potatoes as well as milking cows and selling free range eggs at the farm gate.
