We have been dedicated to growing organic vegetables for nearly 30 years (Soil Association registered) & run a produce market every Thursday from 11am - 6.30pm (all year) & Saturday 10am-2pm (closed August) in our barn. At Auchengree Farm shop we aim to provide our customers with the finest high quality locally sourced Scottish produce. We are a family business and working farm and take particular care in how we rear our animals. Our animals are fed mainly a grass diet, common in North Ayrshire due to the mild climate. This helps produce excellent growing conditions and enhances the flavour of our meat. Franklins farm shop was opened at Trumpetons Farm, Thorncote Green in October 2003. It was born from the ever increasing requests from local people who were concerned about where their food comes from and the conditions the live animals are kept in. Many consumers are today increasingly discerning and many wish to buy direct from the producer to maximise quality and flavour.

Daylands Farm

We have a herd of suckler cows with their calves, a flock Charolais sheep and a few pigs. Silage and hay are grown to feed the cattle and sheep in winter, when they can’t graze in the fields, and we grow vegetables and flowers, to sell at the local farmers markets, along with seasonal goods like jams, jellies, syrups and Christmas trees!
