Balnafettach Farm
A family-run farm situated just outside Cromdale within the Cairngorms National Park, the Cassells farm one of Scotlands oldest native breeds, pure Highland Cattle, and a small flock of sheep - a mixture of pure Jacobs and Texel X. They also have free-roaming chickens, and occasionally rear rare breed pigs from weaners, which they turn into bacon themselves using traditional methods. Working recently with an on-farm butcher, they offer seasonal wild game, shot on the farm and locally, as well as mutton. North Acomb Farm Shop
Here at North Acomb Farm we rear and produce our own bestselling Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb and pork on the farm. We make our very own homemade cakes, meals, pies, pasties, biscuits, black pudding and scotch eggs, amongst lots of other things, in the farm shop kitchen.
