Owned and farmed by the Blyth family for three generations, Friday Street Farm Shop has been serving the local community since 1976, when the farm shop first started selling a small amount of seasonal produce. Now it has grown into a bustling epicentre of rural life with an expanded Farm Shop and Butchery, a popular Kitchen serving wholesome food every day of the week and a permanent on site Fishmonger. Blacker Hall Farm Shop
As a family of farmers we take a hands-on and traditional approach to everything we do to achieve the best quality possible. Our beef roasts and steaks are matured on the bone for a minimum of 21 days, our award-winning hams and bacon are dry-cured here by us, and our bread is freshly baked each morning. Whilst it’s impossible for us to compete with local supermarkets on price, there’s no contest when it comes to taste and provenance.

Savin Hill Farm
All the Beef and Pork at Savin Hill is expertly cut by a craftsman butcher in our specially built premises. Paul, the butcher at Savin Hill has over 20 years experience of cutting meat. He also has a great deal of expertise in the area of charcuterie, with which we have developed some new products using our Saddleback Pork and pork from other British pigs. Look out for them in some specialist food outlets.
