Auchengree Farm Shop

At Auchengree Farm shop we aim to provide our customers with the finest high quality locally sourced Scottish produce. We are a family business and working farm and take particular care in how we rear our animals. Being registered Farm Assured, our customer has the confidence to buy quality, which comes with its own guarantee. Our animals are fed mainly a grass diet, common in North Ayrshire due to the mild climate. This helps produce excellent growing conditions and enhances the flavour of our meat. All our meat is matured for 21 days ensuring optimum taste and quality. We are member of the Scottish butchers club.

The Aberdeenshire Larder Butcher Shop is easy to find on Broomiesburn road and has ample parking, just 30 minutes North of Aberdeen. The Shop is open Monday to Saturday and offers a wide selection of family staples including our Signature Handmade Burgers & Sausages, as well as locally sourced Scottish Wild Venison and Game.

Balnafettach Farm

A family-run farm situated just outside Cromdale within the Cairngorms National Park, the Cassells farm one of Scotlands oldest native breeds, pure Highland Cattle, and a small flock of sheep - a mixture of pure Jacobs and Texel X. They also have free-roaming chickens, and occasionally rear rare breed pigs from weaners, which they turn into bacon themselves using traditional methods. Working recently with an on-farm butcher, they offer seasonal wild game, shot on the farm and locally, as well as mutton.
