Daylands Farm
We have a herd of suckler cows with their calves, a flock Charolais sheep and a few pigs. Silage and hay are grown to feed the cattle and sheep in winter, when they can’t graze in the fields, and we grow vegetables and flowers, to sell at the local farmers markets, along with seasonal goods like jams, jellies, syrups and Christmas trees!

The emphasis is always on own, local and seasonal first but in order to provide a wider choice we buy produce from other local farms and food producers and everything else from further afield comes from our wholesaler in Cornwall.

Barbreck Farms
One of the few farms in Argyll to raise and finish their own cattle, Barbreck is situated on rich, low-lying pasture at the head of Loch Craignish, around 20 miles south of Oban. Calves are suckled until 10 months old and fed home-produced silage when wintering in sheds, before being butchered on site. Barbreck's lambs are raised on their mother's milk and herb-rich hill pastures, and both meats are available from their website and in the farm shop, alongside seasonal pork from Mull and local venison.
