The Store Company

A prominent and active local farm shop for the last decade, The Store is located on the Booth family farm where grass-fed lamb and Aberdeen Angus beef are reared in small numbers. The well-stocked meat counter includes sausages and freshly made shepherd's pie, curry and lasagne, and various cuts and joints for the Sunday roast - all prepared in the on-site butchery and kitchen. In addition, there's a range of locally sourced foods including vegetables and cheeses, while a new coffee shop offers a smart sit-in option for sweet and savoury food.

Balnafettach Farm

A family-run farm situated just outside Cromdale within the Cairngorms National Park, the Cassells farm one of Scotlands oldest native breeds, pure Highland Cattle, and a small flock of sheep - a mixture of pure Jacobs and Texel X. They also have free-roaming chickens, and occasionally rear rare breed pigs from weaners, which they turn into bacon themselves using traditional methods. Working recently with an on-farm butcher, they offer seasonal wild game, shot on the farm and locally, as well as mutton. Cwmcerrig Farm Shop

We’re proud of the meat we produce here at Cwmcerrig and are delighted to now be selling it direct to our customers in our shop. Our Texel lamb and Hereford beef are reared here at Cwmcerrig to high standards of animal welfare. Not only is this the kind thing to do, but the meat tastes better.

The Crazy Bear Farm and Farm Shop were originally created for our restaurants - for our chefs, butchers and farmer to work together to develop specialist produce with absolute traceability. We have complete control over the environment in which our animals live, we choose exactly the right time for slaughter, we hang meats in our own butchery to peak maturity, and cut to precise specifications. The Farm Shop has developed considerably since opening in 2004, now offering a vast range of food, wine and gifts.
