Brown and Forrest is a small family run smokery, started 38 years ago here in Somerset, we produce the finest smoked eel and salmon as well as a whole range of delicious smoked foods including smoked chicken, duck, lamb and trout. We're not a factory or a big retailer. All our smoked fish and meats are hand crafted in-house from top quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible and from sustainable resources. Every smokehouse has a unique flavour from the wood, the way things are done, the raw materials and even the smoker. Here at Cley everything is smoked over Oak to our own recipes and our own processes to produce food with real flavour and above all honesty.

New House Farm Shop and Tea Room is located in a 16th Century Sussex barn which has been renovated to the highest possible standard. The shop sells locally sourced products including fresh fruit and veg, fresh bread, meat, wine, cider and ale, cheese/deli, store cupboard essentials, ready meals, ice cream and local crafts. In the tea room you can choose from locally baked cakes and cupcakes, sandwiches, breakfasts and Ploughman’s and of course a range of teas coffees, chocolate and soft drinks. In June and July you can pick our famous strawberries and raspberries.

Rothiemurchus Farm Shop & Deli
Established in 1985, Rothiemurchus Farm Shop started life selling fresh and whisky barrel smoked rainbow trout caught in the clear waters flowing from the Cairngorms straight into its fishery. Before long a fully fledged farm shop was well stocked and selling a range of local produce, from the estate's renowned venison, beef and heather honey to artisan cheeses, wines and beers, locally handmade truffles, pies and pates, and a unique range of jams and preserves. The Druie Restaurant & Cafe, taking its name from the sparkling burn carrying mountain water from the Cairngorms down to the River Spey, is open daily serving breakfasts, lunches, locally roasted coffee and homemade cakes.

McGregor Farm Deli
Sourcing the right products for the shop is very important to us. On the rare occasion we run out of beef we buy from people who have bought a number of bulls from us over the years, thereby paying back a bit of their custom but also keeping the beef as close to our own homebred as possible.
