Low Stanger Farm

We produce fruit and vegetables on a relatively small scale, but with a wide variety and availability. We run our own, small, weekly box scheme supplying the surrounding area. We are always looking for new outlets, especially for apples and other fruit. Please contact us if you would like to know more about the box scheme, or wish to buy market garden produce on a less regular basis. We do not have a farm shop, but are usually available to pick and sell produce to callers

We've been growing certified organic vegetables on our ten acre site near Bedlington and supplying them to customers throughout the North-East since 1995. Joining our box scheme is cost-effective way of buying certified organic seasonal vegetables and fruit on a regular basis.

Our aim is to provide a weekly veg box sourced from organically grown food here in the Tywi Valley. We are trying to achieve this through our Fferm Glytwaith (Patchwork Farm) project where we are co-ordinating a growing scheme with a number of local growers and farmers.

The produce we sell here at Hexhamshire Organics is all organic. Being certified by the Soil Association is our ‘badge of honour’. It is proof that how we grow, care for and distribute our produce is totally Organic. We do not use anything which is artificial and our standards of animal welfare has got to be of an extremely high standard. Mains of Leask Vegetables

Here at Mains of Leask we grow a wide range of vegetable which vary by the season. At the start of the season, from late July to late September, salad crops and brassicas dominate. Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, peas, spinach, chard, beetroot, cauliflower and broccoli, amongst others.
